Beacon Hill Country Park consists of over 135 hectares (330 acres) of grassland and woodland.
The National Forest Way was opened in May 2014. It takes in 75 miles of public and permissive footpaths, crossing the National Forest from the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire.
