Houses on Southdean Close. The road itself is shown on the 1947 (revised 1939-40) 25" map with some houses and is named there as East Drive. The houses on this photo are first shown on the 1961 (those in the background) and 1971 (those on the left) 1:1250 maps, by which time it was named Southdean Close, presumably to avoid confusion with another East Drive less than a kilometre further east.
