This is a view from the N of the site of the OS-marked Hut Circle on Drumderfit Hill. OS gives the site to be located at NH65808 52166 on 1:25,0000 or on more detailed maps as NH6581 5219. The GPS gives this camera position within 15m of the centre of the feature. The feature has in the past (1950s) been measured to be 10.5 m in diameter. The ground was hummocky and otherwise featureless. It is presumed that Forestry and Land Scotland kept this area clear of trees because of its archaeological significance.
