Wheel and Turbine at Park Mill
Wheel and Turbine at Park Mill
Park Mill was operational from around 1750 up until 1902. The following year it was acquired by author Rudyard Kipling as part of his country house estate at Batemans.
He had a turbine installed which, via a generator in the adjacent shed, provided electricity to the main house for over 20 years.
