NZ0847 : C2C (Sea to Sea) cycle route through Rowley NZ0847 : NCN path at Rowley NZ0847 : Picnic site at Rowley Station

In the latter half of the 19th century this cycle path was a cross-moorland railway track between Consett and Tow Law. There was a station hereabouts called Cold Rowley (sic), which at 850' asl most probably lived up to its name in the winter months.
