Parish Boundary Marker at the south end of Ackenthwaite, set back from the road against a stone wall on the southwest side of the crossroads of the B6384, Paradise Lane and Smithy Lane. Set up on the boundary of Beetham and Heversham parishes. Milnthorpe was part of Heversham with Milnthorpe township in Heversham parish until it became a separate parish in 1866.
