Ward's Building in High Bridge
Ward's Building in High Bridge
This view looks south down High Bridge, in the section between Grey Street and Bigg Market in Newcastle city centre. The highly decorated Ward's Building is in the centre on the right hand side of the street, to the left of the "39" sign. It dates from 1903 by Cackett and Burns Dick for Wards the printers. Built in Art Nouveau style in red brick with ashlar detailing.
