Old buildings in High Bridge, Newcastle
Old buildings in High Bridge, Newcastle
High Bridge is an old medieval street in Newcastle city centre, although the surviving buildings are from later times. The red brick building here, Nos 4-6, is a late 18th or early 19th century house, now a shop. To the right is the Beehive Hotel, on the corner with the Cloth Market. This is from 1902, but replaced an earlier pub of the same name.
