Embleton Hall, Longframlington
Embleton Hall, Longframlington
The original 1730 house, which is now the west wing, was built by Thomas Embleton and was subsequently extended soon after being purchased by the Fenwick Family in 1780. In 1893 a larger new house (the entrance to which faces the photographer) was built onto that extension for Dr. J. C. J. Fenwick. The building is Grade II Listed and since 2013, after being an hotel for many years, is now a private residence.
