The Granby Inn describes itself as a "character-filled old inn that offers fine dining for the knowledgeable food enthusiast" which is "ideally situated in the heart of Northumberland, on the A697 just north of Morpeth and within easy reach of the beautiful Northumbrian coast, the Cheviot Hills, the Borders and the ancient town of Alnwick". Formerly a coaching stop, the Granby Inn is around 250 years old and has retained much of its original character, including fine old oak beams.
