NZ2464 : South side of the Bigg Market

taken 2 months ago, near to Gateshead, England

South side of the Bigg Market
South side of the Bigg Market
Mainly Victorian buildings along the south side of Newcastle's Bigg Market. These were all built in the later 19th century to replace much older buildings in this medieval market place. The lane off to the left has the rather strange name of Pudding Chare, which probably means "muddy lane".
