SJ4199 : Footbridge over Kirkby Brook

taken 12 months ago, near to Kirkby, Knowsley, England

Footbridge over Kirkby Brook
Footbridge over Kirkby Brook
The footbridge provides a pedestrian link between Headbolt Lane Station and Headbolt Lane at Tower Hill.
The bridge seems to be excessively over engineered for such a small brook, especially so when it is considered that the same brook is accommodated by a culvert further downstream where it passes under the A506 County Road.
