Overlooking Cornelian Bay
Looking south from the Cleveland Way, before the trail plunges down into a ravine over a series of high steps. This path was originally dubbed the Cleveland Way. Since then the North Sea Trail, European 2 and England Coast Path have also adopted this route.
The Cleveland Way
The Cleveland Way runs 110 miles (177 km) between Helmsley and the Brigg at Filey, skirting the North York Moors National Park. Its highest point is at Urra Moor, 1,489 ft (454 m).
