The Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar at Hodbarrow Point.
The pillar was constructed in 1949. The flush bracket benchmark number S5454 on the north east face of the pillar marks a height of 20.4399m above sea level (Ordnance Datum Newlyn) last verified in 1956 (photograph SD1878 : Flush Bracket Benchmark, Hodbarrow).
