Street Art (Graffiti), Brewhouse Bank, North Shields
This colourful piece of graffiti has been painted on the wooden hoarding that surround the former Tyne Brand factory site, once the UK's largest herring canning factory but long since closed (1976) and derelict. The graffiti is a 'wildstyle' design, a complex and abstract style characterized by highly stylized, often illegible letters, intricate patterns, and dynamic flows. It is known for its use of curves, angles, and overlapping elements, making it visually striking and challenging to decipher. Love it or loathe it, you simply cannot ignore it.
