Noth side of Hood Street, Newcastle
One of Richard Grainger's streets from the 1830's. The building in the centre with the pillared porch is The Northern Counties Club. It was originally three houses before being converted to the Tyne Hotel and then the present private club in the 1970's. Only the facade is left of the original work.
