NZ2565 : Victoria Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne

taken 9 months ago, near to Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

Victoria Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Victoria Square, Newcastle Upon Tyne
This is part of a terrace of 15 houses (2-30 even numbers) which was built in about 1840 and was previously known as Victoria Terrace. The terrace is Grade II Listed. When the Central Motorway (which can just be seen to the extreme right of the photograph) was constructed much of historic Victoria Square disappeared under a motorway interchange and this single terrace is all that remains.
