taken 2 months ago, near to Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

Jesmond Parish Church,
Jesmond Parish Church,
The church's official name is the Clayton Memorial Church and is unusual among Anglican parish churches in not being named after either a saint who appears in the church's calendar or a person of the Trinity. It is situated in the Brandling Village area of Jesmond in close proximity to the junction of Jesmond Road (A1058) and the Central Motorway (A167 (M)). The church was designed by Newcastle architect John Dobson between 1857 & 1861 with the vestry added later in 1874. It is a Grade II Listed building.
