Approaching Pulborough old bridge. The tide had pushed us up from Littlehampton (20 miles) in 3 hours 10 minutes. It was still running strongly. To the right, just before the bridge, is the slipway where other boats had been launched that day and where we would take out "Ant" at the end of our trip later.
