Jesmond Old Cemetery is a Victorian cemetery which contains a number of Listed Buildings and Monuments together with the graves of dozens of notable people connected with the history of the area. The cemetery was designed by renowned North Shields born architect John Dobson who is also buried in the cemetery. This photograph shows a section of this large cemetery from just inside the imposing John Dobson designed entrance archway shown at Link.
