Path, Armstrong Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Lying on the south side of Armstrong Bridge and on the wooded east bank of the Ouse Burn, this area was named as Bulman Woods on the first edition of the Six-Inch Ordnance Survey map of the area published in 1864. The park was gifted to the citizens of Newcastle by Sir William George Armstrong (Later to become Lord Armstrong) in 1878. The park consists of mature woodland, steep valleys and grassland areas, with many historic features hidden within. This path is the main thoroughfare through the park.
