View across Pilgrim Street to Moors Buildings
This big block on Pilgrim Street in Newcastle city centre is called Moors Buildings and occupies Nos 54-56, on the corner with High Bridge on the left. It replaced earlier Georgian houses and offices in 1894 by John Johnson. Originally a Freemasons Hall, it became the Moor shipping line offices and is now a bar and nightclub and shops.
