With funding from National Highways and Kingston upon Hull City Council, three city centre locations will benefit from works to create more flexible, accessible and inviting spaces for all.

The three key locations – Humber Dock Street, High Street and Princes Dock Street – are part of a new maritime trail that will connect the city’s maritime treasures being transformed by the wider Hull Maritime programme.

To support the hospitality scene along Prince’s Dock Street during the Spring and Summer trading months, construction works were paused from 20 June 2025. This allowed businesses to fully utilise outdoor spaces and offer a welcoming experience to customers enjoying the warmer weather. The project is due for completion August 2026.
