The premises now housing the Istanbul Restaurant was a "One Stop" store from at least 2008 until 2017. It then became "Peak Superstore" (2018), "International Supermarket" (2020) and Rania Foods (2023).

The now gutted building next door was Lloyds Bank until 2023.
