Coastal erosion has taken its toll on the sandstone headland beside Dysart Harbour. It has been barricaded off for some time - with good reason. Further rockfalls appear to have crushed some of the Heras fencing. The Sailor's Walk Steps (behind the stone wall), leading up to the Sailor's Walk above the harbour have been closed off too.

Fife Council were intending to start work to make this safe at the end of September 2025.
