Eagle House, The Parade, Broadstairs
Eagle House, The Parade, Broadstairs
Eagle House is an apartment block at beach level on Viking Bay. The house is named after the eagle military standard captured from the French at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815 and which adorned the building. The original standard is now in London but a replica was installed in 2010 during restoration. The Parade, which runs along the clifftop above Eagle House, is the postal address of Eagle House. The image was taken from the end of Broadstairs Pier.
