taken 4 months ago, near to Leicester, England

Lady North Gates and the Peace Walk
Lady North Gates and the Peace Walk
These gates were erected by Sir Jonathan North in memory of his late wife Kate Eliza North, Mayoress of the City of Leicester 1914-1918. The Peace Walk is an ornamental walkway that runs between these gates on University Road and the War Memorial, both designed by Edwin Lutyens in 1923. It is located on the western edge of Victoria Park in Leicester.
