The only way to get to Kesworth (sometimes spelt with a ‘y’) Farm is to cross the main Weymouth – London Waterloo railway line. This involves using the telephone to ring the signalman for permission to cross, then phoning from the other side once you are safely over. There is a £1000 fine for leaving the gate open!
