The A560 runs through Gee Cross village continuing as Mottram Old Road. Stockport road turns left on to the B6468 into Hyde. On the left is the former Gee Cross Methodist Church which closed in 2023 SJ9593 : Gee Cross Methodist Church for sale. Houses on the corner past the church were demolished in 2022 and new houses have been built on the site. The church itself now faces almost certain demolition.
