Construction site, Belfast
Looking towards the block of student accommodation under construction in Little Donegall Street as seen from the upper floors of Ulster University. The accommodation block will be known as the "Biscuit Factory" LinkExternal link , a name derived from Marsh & Company's 1881 factory in the same location (the red brick structure in front is the 1894 built Marsh Building LinkExternal link ).
Carrick Hill development site, Belfast

A site, bounded by Carrick Hill, Donegall Street and Little Donegall Street. It has the following planning permission (refused on 18 October 2016 and approved, on appeal, on 21 November 2017): “LA04/2015/0609/F Purpose built managed student accommodation comprising 620 no. units with associated amenity and ancilliary [sic] support accommodation with 54 no. lower ground floor parking spaces 140 Donegall Street Belfast BT1 2GX”.
The photographs submitted by me appear as a matter of neutral record only. I have no connection with the site, the developer or any individual or group objecting to the development.
