Draper's Mill, Margate - great spur wheel
A smock mill with four patent sails and winding by fan tail. There is also a gas engine here. Probably early 19th century and Grade II listed. This drives the stones from above (overdrift). One stone nut is seen in part and has inserted wooden teeth.
