Bushey Lane is a minor lane on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset.

This image was taken during the early afternoon on a bright and sunny day at the end of December. Trees in the background were bare for the winter season. At this time of year, the sun is low in the sky, resulting in long shadows.

The weather was chilly when this photo was taken. Even though it was afternoon, frost still lay on the grass to the left of the lane. The shadows had prevented sunlight from shining onto the frosty ground, so the frost had still not evaporated.
