Gasholder Number 4 is one of the two surviving gasholders from the Temple Gasworks, beside the Forth and Clyde Canal. It dates from 1893. Both gasholders were built by Barrowfield Ironworks Ltd for the Corporation of Glasgow Gas Department. They are Category B listed LinkExternal link.

Strathcona Drive (the road to the gasholder) is crossing a bridge over the railway below.
