Library, St George's Terrace, Newcastle
A fun 1960s job by Williamson, Faulkner Brown & Partners, 1962-63. Functional too - "the 'saw-tooth' walls of the circular lending area enables light to be introduced to the side of the bookcases." Steel-framed with red granite panels (NZ2566 : Detail of library, St George's Terrace, Newcastle). Grade II listed.
