Fulwell Windmill - stone floor
Tower windmill that is restored and workable. Built 1821 to replace an earlier mill and listed Grade II*. It has four patent sails that have been converted to common sails. Winding is by fantail.
This shows two sets of stones. The ones on the left have had the tun removed and the stone crane is attached to lift the runner stone. The ones on the right have their stone furniture in situ. The guarding around the mainshaft strikes me as a little excessive.
