Fulwell Windmill - stone floor
Fulwell Windmill - stone floor
Tower windmill that is restored and workable. Built 1821 to replace an earlier mill and listed Grade II*. It has four patent sails that have been converted to common sails. Winding is by fantail.
This shows two sets of stones. The ones in the foreground have had the tun removed and the stone crane is attached to lift the runner stone. The stone can then be turned over and lowered for dressing. The ones in the background have their stone furniture in situ.
