TQ3179 : On foot from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo (5067)
taken 24 days ago, near to Lambeth, England

My dad always used to say "Just as the first day of the holiday comes round, so does the last" And so, five months and one day since I set off from the steps of Portsmouth Harbour Station Link I completed the trip with a walk from Earlsfield Station, up Earlsfield Road to Spencer Park, over in to Battersea Rise and a half time stop at Clapham Junction. Refreshed, it was along a mobless Lavender Hill; and thence to Queenstown Road Station. When you see Vauxhall from a Waterloo bound train you know you're nearly there so I "dug in" and walked along Nine Elms Lane to Albert Embankment from where I found myself doing the Lambeth Walk and my final destination, Napoleon's Nemesis- Waterloo
