Former railway workers' cottages on Walnut Tree Close, these ones (nos 15 - 19, the northern part of a row nos 9 - 19) first shown on the 1916 25" map, although many others (most since demolished) were shown either side of the road on the 1896 edition. Perhaps the only reason why these ones have survived is their proximity to the River Wey behind, leaving little room for redevelopment.
