Seen through the railings on Temple Row, people are enjoying the sunshine in the cathedral grounds. The Cathedral Church of St Philip was designed by Thomas Archer in the baroque style and built between 1709 and 1715. It became a cathedral in 1905 when the Diocese of Birmingham was formed.
