St Michaels and All Angels > LinkExternal link is a medieval building encased in a 19th century structure, designed by the then rector, the Rev Whitwell Elwin > LinkExternal link. Built from knapped flint and stone, the church has two west towers > LinkExternal link and a variety of pinnacles, a very elaborate priest door (seen here), a hammerbeam nave roof, and stained glass windows depicting angels > LinkExternal link designed by Cox, Sons & Buckley (1880-1900).
