On Saturday the 31st of May 2008 the last of the twenty six turbine towers was
delivered to the Scout Moor Wind Farm construction site.
The three tower sections, seen here at the holding compound in Scout Moor quarry, were to become Turbine No 17 which was constructed during the first week of June 2008.
It was almost 6 months to the day since the first tower was delivered back in November 2007 Link
