Motte and Bailey??
This is the top of the hill marked "Motte and Bailey", the site of Wakefield's other castle on Lawe Hill. It is a tangled mass of oak trees and bushes but there are discernible paths to the top. It is impossible to say what is left of any archaeology on the site.
