Cottage at "Witch's Quay"
Cottage at "Witch's Quay"
In the Arthur Ransome book "Secret Water", this cottage is inhabited by an old woman, who helps the children, and the shed plays a role as a depot for goods bought in from the town. (See Chapter XIV, for example.) In the book, Kirby Quay is called "Witch's Quay". Compare: TM2222 : Thatched cottage
