SM7525 : A Very Reverend Head

taken 11 years ago, near to St David's, Pembrokeshire/Sir Benfro, Great Britain

A Very Reverend Head
A Very Reverend Head
Situated beside the old gargoyles on St David's Cathedral. I emailed the cathedral administration requesting more information on this 'modern gargoyle' (maybe I should have just said 'sculpture'). Here is their response:

"The carving was done when restoration work was done on the East End of the Cathedral which was only finally completed at the beginning of this year. It is a representation of our current Dean the Very Reverend J Wyn Evans."
