The centre of the north parapet of Colnbrook Bridge - see TQ0277 : Colnbrook Bridge.

The upper stone gives a date of 1777 - presumably the construction of the bridge. Historically this bridge was on the boundary between Buckinghamshire and Middlesex.

The lower plate is a Coal and Wine Tax "Post" (Nail Number 78 - LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) ) placed there in 1861.
