SO9286 : Dudley No 1 Canal - Nine Locks Bridge

taken 11 years ago, near to Quarry Bank, Dudley, Great Britain

Dudley No 1 Canal - Nine Locks Bridge
Dudley No 1 Canal - Nine Locks Bridge
Misleading name as the number of locks in the Delph flight was reduced from nine to eight in 1855. There is also a pub called the 'Tenth Lock'. I met a confused boater looking in vain for the bottom lock!
