A young specimen of this delicious (if salty) seaside rival of asparagus. It was growing lushly close to "The Ark", an artist's studio in the form of an old wooden hulk, described by a friend as a hut-boat, shown here: TF8545 : The Ark - an artist's retreat in the saltmarshes.
