Steam at Wallington Station
Steam at Wallington Station
One of the very few times a steam hauled train stopped at Wallington Station. This was a Southern Wanderer Special, almost certainly March 28, 1965, only a few years before steam finally disappeared. The goods yard has lost its rails and seems to have become a dumping ground for old cars.
