The domed ceiling of the banking hall is made up of 5 concentric tiers of glazed stars,24 in each row. The spandrels contain circular compartments representing Commerce, Agriculture, Navigation and the Arts.
A wide angled lens would be required to do justice to this beautiful building. A hidden gem seen by few visitors to Edinburgh although this is in the banking hall open to all.
