Stone on a tumulus, Boskednan
Triangular standing stone on a tumulus to the north-west of the Nine Maidens stone circle. The tor in the distance is the south-east end of Carn Galver.
Brook Cottage,
This photo represents all the good things one can say about Geograph and how people show a genuine intrest in helping. Allan Simkins went out specialy for me to take this photo. The terrain is less forgiving, and would require 4 wd vehicle to get closer than Bodrifty, or to walk.
Why this photo excites me is that this is where my father was born on 09 april 1897. My father always believed he was born in St Ives, but after reciving a copy of my fathers birth certificate, it said Brook Cottage, Zennor.
Now with the pic being in Geograph, I can easily cut and paste the link rather than send a digital copy.
My next mission now is to visit the place in two years time.
Many thanks Geograph and Allan Simkin and one or two others who also helped in this search.
